(Whitehause, pag. ) WHO WEARS THE CROWN. An entire new game. Published by J.& E . Wallis, 42 Skinner Street, London, and J. Wallis Junr., Marine Library, Sidmouth.
An engraving size 18 in X 16 in, hand-coloured, with rules printed from type, affixed beneath, making a sheet 18 in X 24 in, mounted in 12 sections on linen, contained in slip-in case with picture label on front. A race game of the snail-shell type. Undated, but published between 1812 and 1820. Players are directed to provide themselves with 12 counters each, with which to pay to or receive from the bank: they also go forward or back according to the space they rest on.
N.B. This is one of the very few publications carrying the Wallis's Sidmouth address.
